Dr. George Attia

Dr. George Attia is the Director of the UHealth Reproductive and Fertility Center, Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and an Associate Professor at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Attia is a long-time expert in the field of Reproductive Medicine. Before taking charge of UHealth’s Reproductive and Fertility Center he was the In-Vitro Fertilization Director at the University of Texas. He completed his Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and his Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Infertility and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.). His career advice has been sought by various media outlets and his work has been published in multiple media journals. He is the recipient of the 2012 Castel Connolly’s Top Doctor Award, 2010-2012 Patient’s Choice Award, 2010-2012 Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award, and the 2012 Top Ten Doctors Award. Dr. Attia has been the author of several scientific publications in the field of reproductive endocrinology and fertility and served as senior investigator in many clinical trials. He has been guest speaker to numerous national and international Fertility conferences; he is recognized as one of the top educator in the field of fertility. Dr. Attia strives to provide his patients with the most comprehensive, individualized, innovative and affordable fertility treatments.

Dr. Arthur Shapiro

Dr. Arthur Shapiro is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist at UHealth’s Reproductive and Fertility Center focusing on female infertility and a Clinical Professor for the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. He is a recipient of the Healthgrades Honor Roll Award due to his exceptional professional track record. Dr. Shapiro served for 8 years as the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he also founded and directed their In-Vitro Fertilization Center prior to him joining UHealth’s Reproductive and Fertility Center. Dr. Shapiro is a Harvard Medical School Graduate who completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He received his postdoctoral fellowship training at the Institute of Endocrinology at Tel Hashomer/Sheba Hospital in Israel. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.) and the American College of Endocrinology (F.A.C.E). Dr. Shapiro has been a faculty member at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine for more than 40 years. He is a compassionate and caring physician whose utmost priority is to bring the most comprehensive, individual, innovative and affordable fertility care to his patients. Dr. Shapiro speaks both English and Hebrew.
